The Business Continuity and Preparedness Coalition (BCPC) for South Central Mountains Regional Task Force (Bedford, Blair, Centre, Fulton, Huntingdon, Juniata, Mifflin, Snyder) provides information and opportunities for business and community partners to prepare for all types of hazards.
Please join us at the upcoming Homeland Security Symposium – Tuesday and Wednesday May 6 and May 7, 2025 - at the Blair County Convention Center, Convention Center Drive, Altoona, PA. 16602
We have many strong sessions that provide important information to help us be prepared for a potential disaster, before, it happens! Lessons learned from real life events that have occurred in the region or nationally will be featured, to help us enhance our preparation for future events. Three nationally known speakers are leading sessions.
This regional event might truly be a “life saver”.

A team response and rescue approach to active shooter incidents that evolved after the Columbine school shooting. The national standard is now the regional standard and is entitled Active Attack Integrated Response (AAIR).
