This program introduces the concepts of managing change, with a special emphasis on resilience - the ability to bounce back when life throws you a curveball.
Objectives

About Maureen:
Maureen brings 40 years of financial services, healthcare, and higher education experience to her role creating and facilitating customized management and leadership development programs to a variety of clients in a wide range of industries.
Her training and consulting engagements focus on advancing leadership skills and interpersonal communications and creating high performing teams. She provides customized talent development programs and coaching services to meet the current and future challenges of supervisors, managers, leaders, and key talent in organizations.
Maureen’s expertise lies in DiSC®, Emotional Intelligence (EQ), the Myers- Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and team performance to improve self-awareness and awareness of others as foundational leadership principles. She is a frequent speaker and workshop facilitator at various regional and national professional association conferences.
Specific Experience
- Designs and delivers leadership curriculums to develop current and high-potential leadership professionals, helping them formulate effective management and business development attributes, enhance their leadership capabilities, and engage in continuous development.
- Administers a variety of 360 Assessment tools (Center for Creative Leadership, Korn Ferry, etc.) Analyzes and interprets results to help professionals leverage their strengths and identify areas for development.
- Served 11 years as an assistant professor in The Pennsylvania State University’s Management Development Programs and Services division where she provided customized leadership and management training programs to organizations throughout the United States. Her primary focus was in supervisory and leadership competencies with an emphasis on communication and behavioral styles in the workplace.
- Received The Pennsylvania State University Distance and Continuing Education Outstanding Instructor Award (2008)
- Employed by Mellon Bank, N.A. in Pittsburgh for 14 years in various capacities, including Assistant Vice-President and Director of Master Trust University, which provided professional and technical training to over 600 team members as well as external clients.
- Taught undergraduate and graduate courses in English Composition, Management Communications, Professional and Technical Writing, and Training and Development at St. Francis University (Loretto, PA) and The Pennsylvania State University. Teaching platforms included classroom, on- line, distance learning, and blended settings.
- Teach graduate courses on “Facilitating Groups and Teams” in The Pennsylvania State University’s World Campus Masters of Professional Studies (M.P.S.) in Organizational Development and Change program.
